Meet Jim

Jim is married and the father of three boys. Jim and Vaso have been married for 42 years. They have lived in Parker since 1987 and have had service with CORE continually since 1992. Jim has had his business in the Parker Old Town area of Mainstreet and Pikes Peak Avenue continuously since 1989. Jim and Vaso moved into one of the first homes in Stonegate in early 1987. They are members of Saint Catherine’s and the Assumption Christian Greek Orthodox Churches. Jim has been a volunteer to many local groups and has donated freely of his time and resources to numerous local and regional charitable groups. Jim and Vaso graduated from the University of Wyoming and Jim earned his law degree by attending Temple University and the University of Wyoming.

Jim’s sons all graduated from Ponderosa High School and from Colorado State University. Theo earned a division one college baseball scholarship, John was named as high school all-American in football at Ponderosa High School and Michael graduated with academic high honors from Colorado State University.

Vaso’s undergraduate degree was in English, a prolific reader and raised three great sons. Jim and Vaso have 4 grandchildren.

Former county attorney, Hot Springs and Converse County, Thermopolis and Douglas, Wyoming; town attorney, Glenrock, Wyoming; Retired Municipal Judge, Elizabeth Colorado 1996-2004.   Parker Lawyers practice limited to entity formation, real estate/land use acquisition & development, contracts, probate-wills and estates: Electric Cooperative Bar Association (ECBA), Former member  Colorado Real Estate Section– Colorado Bar Association.  Gold level board member designation-National Rural Electric Cooperative Association.

District 7 elected representative to the Electric Cooperative Association (CORE) board of directors. Audit Committee-CORE and  Treasurer and Secretary;  Former director at   BankWest and International Bank.  Former Director – Double Angel Foundation, Designated Outstanding Lawyers of America, Named to Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers of America; 2008 Recipient PEDC Cornerstone Award; “Av” rated attorney, "Peer Review" certification Martindale-Hubbell; Madison's Who's Who. Numerous designations as reader’s choice as “Best of the Best” attorney for Parker, Colorado-most recently June 2020. Denver Post Top Lawyers of Denver, Colorado, Co-founder Downtown Parker Development Council.  Co-Founder-Cowboys In Colorado, Denver and Northern Colorado.   The “Lawyer is in” pro-bono legal aid to Parker Senior Center 2017-2021. Jim is an avid fan of the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Rockies and you can often bump into him taking in early batting practice at Coors Field.
