April 25: Deadline for all electronic and mail ballots to reach the independent elections vendor
For over 30 years, I have proudly served as a dedicated member of CORE Electric Association and a committed Parker community leader. In my roles as District 7 Director, Treasurer, and Audit Committee Member, I have consistently worked to ensure that our electric services remain affordable, reliable, and sustainable. Our electric grid must be protected and enhanced!
I have championed stable electric service rates and a reliable and a resilient grid—because when you flip the switch, your lights must always come on.
My leadership has delivered over $120 million in capital credit refunds since 2014, with my leadership causing a $12.5 million refund in 2024 (a smaller refund was originally proposed), ensuring controlled spending and stable rates for all of our members.
As Treasurer, I helped secure CORE’s highest-ever financial rating (AA-) from Fitch, underscoring our commitment to sound fiscal management and thorough oversight.
I have implemented cost-saving measures and aggressively pursued renewable energy solutions at competitive prices. Frequent attendee at power purchase agreement seminars!
I led initiatives for proactive tree trimming and line maintenance to enhance reliability and reduce fire risks to protect our Colorado mountain forests and our homes in Parker.
Managing a billion-dollar plus electric supply and distribution enterprise demands not only expertise in finance, business, law, and management but also a proven track record of informed, decisive leadership. I delivered that experience to the table, and it should not be de-emphasized!
